About
Pikes Peak United Way along with Care & Share Food Bank have partnered to distribute food to local families in need. On the third Thursday each month in the Springs Church parking lot, we distribute thousands of pounds of food to between 150-250 families. We operate a drive-through style event to make a more efficient distribution. It is a fun and engaging way to help our community and we could not do this without your help!
Activities Include:
- Unpacking produce and canned goods
- Prepackaging to-go bags for students/teachers
- Setting up each food station and distributing to guests as they drive through
- Signing in guests
- Traffic control
- Clean-up
